Recently crowned by the Sunday Times as one of the best places to live in Midlands Stirchley can be proud of how far it’s come in the last few years.
I grew up in Kings heath the area situated between Stirchley and Moseley, we have good memories of visiting the many second hand or Bric-A-Brac shops that had originally been dotted along its High Street, then we would go onto the locally famous Dads Lane fish and chips shop which at the time was the only food offering in the local area.
Fast forward 25 years and Stirchley has gone through epic change, attracting food gems from places such as South Africa “Rabbit”, Vietnam “Eat Vietnam” and Modern British fayre brought to you by the all women led team of “Verbena”. Then there’s the vegan/vegetarian offerings of Anjula that challenges the perception that meatless dishes are boring.
Things have really changed and we can’t wait to introduce you to the people and their hard work that have made this area so special and niche.
