The place we call home and where the first of our Neighbourhood Restaurant Tours take place, a vibrant area that was previously known for its many drinking establishments (The Harborne Mile) but since 2000 the area has established itself as the must visit food destination of Birmingham.
From long established haunts like Buonissimo serving unforgettable Italian Food to Harborne Kitchen lauded for its fine food and who can’t be a million miles away from achieving its 1st Michelin Star. I wonder if there is anywhere else in the Midlands let alone Birmingham where you can get a Soft Shell Crab Tempura (Koi Ki) or pay a visit to the recently voted best Chinese restaurant outside Chinatown (Wok Chi) and to be able to visit three Michelin Guide restaurants all in walking distance of each other on the same Sunday afternoon makes for a truly exciting food tour,
